Green Anole
Anolis carolinensis

The green anole is the most I’ll say about reptiles on this site without promising to learn the group.
Thermal behavior matters: time of day and surface temperature drive everything I see.
My images for this species are all made with available light. I don’t use fill flash in the field.
I’ve never intentionally driven to see one, and I’ve still seen plenty.
Any corrections from herp folks are welcome. My ID is shakier than I’d like.
