Notes on file naming

My current file naming convention is YYYY-MM-DD_location-short_species-or-subject_frame-no.arw, and the location and species fields are the ones I’ve changed most in the past year. Lesson: put enough in the filename that a find-by-text query works five years later. Don’t rely on EXIF. Don’t rely on a database I might migrate away from.
