My shot-keep ratio this year
Back-of-envelope numbers for this year: about 46,000 frames, about 2,100 passed first cull, about 240 survived a second pass, and maybe 80 will appear on this site or in a print tray. That’s a keep ratio of roughly one in 575 at the strictest stage. I don’t know whether that’s good or bad. I do know that I spend an hour culling for every two in the field, and probably should spend more.
