Lens fungus

I left a 70-200 in a nylon bag in a closet through a rainy winter and pulled it out to find a starburst of mold inside the front element. The fix was expensive enough that I wrote it down in the budget line I never let myself look at. New rule: when a lens comes home in the wet, it dries in open air overnight, then goes in a dry bag with a desiccant in a dry room, not a closet.
